I have done a lot of reading about nutrition lately (actually some friends of mine are on the Hallelujah Diet and I've been reading the book). And so I'm finding out there are all these things that destroy the vitamins, nutrients, minerals, anti-oxidants and enzymes in food. Things like heating food, exposure to air, length of time before consumption, I don't know, you name it, just about anything you do except pick it fresh and eat it right then, destroys something. :)
So, I'm thinking about all of this and I have this thought ~ Why don't any of these things destroy the calories in food?!?!?! What is up with that?

Amen! :) What IS up with that!?!
It's because calories are, essentially, energy, and the universe has a constant amount of energy. So all you can do is pass the calories (and their resultant FAT) to another person. I blogged about The Theory of Floating Fat last year. :)
Pass the fat, that's kind of catchy. I'll have to look up that floating fat post, providing that no calories are passed in the reading of it. Do you have any kind of disclaimer?!?
Yah, no kidding - but only the bad calories!! If only it were that easy!!!
I hear you!If they float that must be my problem. Enough with the sharing!
Yeah! But ew. Floating fat?
